In 2000 Lyn Ball of Freswick held a quilting exhibition and asked those present if they'd like to form a quilting group. Caithness Quilters was officially formed in March 2001 with the aims of 'promoting and encouraging the practice and techniques of patchwork and quilting as an art and as a needlework craft and advancing the educational development of its members by giving opportunities for their participation' - click for FULL introduction.
